These latest assists helped Fernandes break the club’s record for the most assists in a single Premier League season, previously held by David Beckham, who recorded 15 assists during the 1999-2000 season.
Fernandes is just four assists away from matching the all-time Premier League record, which stands at 20. This record is shared by Thierry Henry (2002-03) and Kevin De Bruyne (2019-20).
