Arsenal is looking at two defensive players for the upcoming summer transfer window to strengthen their squad.

The team is having a successful season, leading the Premier League and reaching the League Cup final this Sunday, while also still competing in the FA Cup and UEFA Champions League.

Plans for player changes are already in motion, as the club assesses which players to keep and which to sell.

As reported by The Times, Arsenal is keeping an eye on Tino Livramento, a right-back from Newcastle United, and Castello Lukeba, a centre-back from RB Leipzig. Both players are 23 years old.

They could join the team this summer if Arsenal parts ways with several players whose futures are uncertain. Questions remain about Gabriel Martinelli, Myles Lewis-Skelly, and Ethan Nwaneri.

Martinelli has two years left on his contract, Lewis-Skelly has had limited playtime this season after a breakthrough year, and Nwaneri is on loan at Marseille.

Jakub Kiwior is expected to transfer to FC Porto for £17 million once his loan ends. Players like Reiss Nelson, Fábio Vieira, and Karl Hein, who are also out on loan, may be available for sale when the transfer window opens.
