Tottenham coach Bruno Saltor is confident that Tottenham Hotspur will avoid relegation, despite their recent defeat to Nottingham Forest.
The team faced a 3-0 loss at home, leading to boos from the fans as they dropped below Forest in the league standings.
Spurs have not won a Premier League match since December and are now only a point above the relegation zone, raising concerns about the possibility of being relegated for the first time since 1977, especially after a brief win in Europe.
After the match, Saltor expressed his assurance that the team can overcome their current struggles, despite a 13-game winless streak in the Premier League.
“Right now, every mistake seems to go against us, and it affects the players too,” he told Sky Sports. “The team fought hard; we know we are in a tough spot. In the first half, we played better and need to keep that up.”
“Trailing 1-0, we aimed to be more aggressive as players returned from injuries, but things didn’t go as planned.”
“This is painful for us, but the fans were incredible today, supporting us from start to finish. We need to keep pushing because we care about this club. We see ourselves as a family and are determined to get out of this situation. I am 100% sure we will succeed.”
