Manchester United is not in a hurry to decide on Michael Carrick’s future, but his strong performance as caretaker manager has bolstered his chances for the permanent role.

According to Sky Sports, Manchester United has not yet initiated discussions with other potential candidates, which could benefit Carrick’s prospects.
Jason Wilcox and Omar Berrada are reportedly not rushing to make a choice while the team continues to perform well.
If they decide against appointing Carrick, the club will look for a manager with significant experience and reputation.
Among the candidates being considered are Julian Nagelsmann, who is likely to leave his position with Germany this summer, as well as Roberto De Zerbi and Gareth Southgate.
