Manchester United is gearing up for its summer recruitment as it looks to strengthen the squad ahead of the upcoming Champions League campaign.
The team is on track to qualify for this major tournament and aims to enhance its lineup.
United is actively seeking to sign two midfielders, one to take the place of Casemiro, with reports indicating that a striker is also being considered.
With Joshua Zirkzee likely to leave Old Trafford this summer, the club will need to find a replacement to ensure that Benjamin Sesko isn’t their only striker.
Additionally, they are in search of a player for the left side, including a left-back and left-winger.
According to The Daily Mail, a United scout was spotted in Germany observing the match between Eintracht Frankfurt and Heidenheim on March 14, 2026.
Frankfurt secured a 1-0 victory despite Robin Koch receiving a second yellow card in the 73rd minute, after assisting Arnaud Kalimuendo’s goal shortly after halftime.
However, the focus for United was on midfielder Hugo Larsson and left-back Nathaniel Brown.
Both players have previously caught United’s attention, with interest in Larsson dating back further than that in Brown.
The Red Devils were linked to Hugo Larsson before the 2025 summer transfer window, while Nathaniel Brown was added to their shortlist this winter.
Now, United is reconsidering both players, but they face competition from other Premier League teams for the young midfielder.
