Benjamin Sesko has displayed significant potential since joining RB Leipzig this summer, scoring ten goals in 28 matches.

What stands out is how Ruben Amorim and Michael Carrick have often used him as a substitute, bringing him on to change the game’s dynamics when needed.

The Slovenia international has proven to be an asset, providing a spark during challenging moments.

Sesko was brought in for £73.7 million to fill the gap left by Rasmus Hojlund, but it’s clear that he needs time to develop into a top-tier striker.

While there’s much for him to learn, his early performances have generated excitement among Manchester United supporters.

Many fans attend matches at Old Trafford to see something thrilling, and Sesko’s skill and enthusiasm deliver just that.

In addition to his goals, Sesko recently spoke with former United striker Danny Webber about the players who have influenced him throughout his career.

Interestingly, he mentioned using YouTube videos to improve his goal-scoring abilities. When Webber asked if there was a specific player he watched, Sesko replied:

“It started with [Zlatan] Ibrahimovic. I admire him a lot. I was tall, though not as tall as him, and I saw him doing incredible things.”

“His creativity and confidence were impressive. He’d take shots from far away,” he added while viewing clips of Ibrahimovic.

“His self-belief and presence are remarkable, though I don’t think I have his character.”

“I watched him a lot because he was just outstanding. I tried to imitate him, which is how I became such a fan of Ibrahimovic,” the young forward shared.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is highly regarded among Manchester United supporters.

He joined the club in 2016 from Paris Saint-Germain and brought valuable experience to the attacking line-up.

Even past his prime, Ibrahimovic scored 29 goals and provided ten assists in 53 matches, helping the team secure the Europa League title in 2016/17 under Jose Mourinho.

If Benjamin Sesko can reach the heights that Ibrahimovic achieved, Manchester United will have a remarkable talent on their hands.
