The final preparations for the World Cup are underway!
Details: Today, the last teams qualifying for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, to be held in the USA, Canada, and Mexico, have been confirmed.
After an intense round of European qualifiers, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Czechia, Sweden, Turkey, DR Congo, and Iraq successfully secured their places in the World Cup.
The group allocation for the World Cup is as follows:
- Group A: Mexico, South Africa, South Korea, Czechia.
- Group B: Canada, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Qatar, Switzerland.
- Group C: Brazil, Morocco, Haiti, Scotland.
- Group D: USA, Paraguay, Australia, Turkey.
- Group E: Germany, Curaçao, Ivory Coast, Ecuador.
- Group F: Netherlands, Japan, Sweden, Tunisia.
- Group G: Belgium, Egypt, Iran, New Zealand.
- Group H: Spain, Cape Verde, Saudi Arabia, Uruguay.
- Group I: France, Senegal, Iraq, Norway.
- Group J: Argentina, Algeria, Austria, Jordan.
- Group K: Portugal, DR Congo, Uzbekistan, Colombia.
- Group L: England, Croatia, Ghana, Panama.
The 2026 FIFA World Cup will run from June 11 to July 19, 2026, in North America. This will be the first time that three countries—Canada, Mexico, and the USA—will co-host the event.
The opening match will take place on June 11, 2026, at the famous Estadio Azteca in Mexico City, featuring Mexico against South Africa.
