“I am a player who defends less, and that can be a problem. It’s true, I do less in that aspect than others; but when I switch on, I track the play and it really impacts the game,” Mbappé said.
He also pointed out that Real Madrid’s setup allows other players to cover for him while he focuses on attacking.
“When you look at Real Madrid, when I go forward, everyone else is in their place. It’s true that sometimes constructive criticism bothers me a little,” he added.
