All rumors of resignation have been laid to rest.
Details: According to ariyadhiah, Hervé Renard will stay on as head coach of the Saudi Arabia national team. The French coach gained popularity after the team’s landmark win against Argentina in 2022 and has received full support from the leadership of the federation as he prepares the “Green Falcons” for the upcoming World Cup.
This decision ends weeks of speculation about Renard’s potential exit amid media scrutiny following recent results. The Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF) has chosen to maintain stability with Renard at the helm as the team heads into the 2026 World Cup, following the long-term development plan established last year.
At the World Cup, Hervé Renard and Saudi Arabia will compete against Uruguay, Spain, and Cape Verde.
Reminder: Previous reports suggested that Hervé Renard would not continue with Saudi Arabia and might take charge of an African national team.
