Manuel Neuer has established himself as a Bayern Munich icon, and it seems his journey with the club isn’t finished yet, as management is open to extending their relationship.
Details: In a conversation with tz, Bayern’s sporting director Max Eberl mentioned that the club is willing to renew the goalkeeper’s contract, depending on Neuer’s willingness.
Quote: “I can imagine it. If Manu is ready for it, feels good, is prepared, and our expectations align, I can absolutely imagine extending the contract,” said Max Eberl.
Bayern Munich signed the goalkeeper on June 8, 2011, with a five-year deal valued at €18 million, plus €7 million in bonuses for top performances.
Reminder: There is also an update on whether Harry Kane will play against Real Madrid in the Champions League.
