Koulibaly emphasized that Sadio Mane is crucial both on the field and as a symbol for the team. He believes the Al-Nassr forward still has much to contribute to the national team.
Will Sadio Mane retire from international football? That’s not happening. I won’t allow it, and I hope he chooses not to. We need him for the sake of Senegal’s reputation and his skills. He can still help us for a few more years. He’s not a defender; he can score goals for us. Maybe he spoke in the moment, but we won’t let him walk away from us easily.
