The only goal of the match came from a first-half own goal by Casric Stars’ Sphamandla Mlilo at Chatsworth Stadium, ending Stars’ surprising run in the Ke Yona tournament.

Now, Stars will refocus on their primary goal for the season, which is earning promotion to the Betway Premiership.

In contrast, Durban City is having an outstanding season, marking their first year in the PSL with significant achievements.
Having secured promotion at the start of the season, the Kwa-Zulu Natal team is now proud to be in the top eight of the PSL standings and reaching the cup final.
