Lyon is facing a severe crisis.
Details: As reported by Stats Foot, after a goalless draw in the 28th round of Ligue 1 against Angers, head coach Paulo Fonseca has made an unwanted mark in the club’s history.
The Portuguese coach is the first Lyon manager since 1992 to go nine official matches without a win, recording five draws and four losses. The last to experience such a streak was famous manager Raymond Domenech, between April and September 1992.
Fonseca’s situation is becoming critical: Lyon, which aimed to qualify for the Champions League, is now moving further away from that goal.
Reminder: Lyon is interested in signing Juventus striker Jonathan David.
