La Gazzetta dello Sport reveals that although Conte has a contract with Napoli until the summer of 2027, he is open to discussions and interested in coaching the national team again.
The Italian Football Federation (FIGC) views Conte as the perfect choice to revitalize the team. Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis may play a significant role, as he is reportedly not planning to block the coach’s exit, despite the existing contract.
The final choice for the national team manager is expected after the FIGC presidential elections on June 22. In the meantime, Silvio Baldini could step in as interim coach for the June friendly matches.
