Manchester United is asking for €40m (£34.8m) for Manuel Ugarte due to interest from various clubs in England and Europe.
Ugarte has not made the impact expected after joining Manchester United from Paris Saint-Germain for around £51m in 2024.
The Uruguayan player has struggled this season, starting only seven matches in the Premier League.
United is willing to let him go but aims to recover a good portion of their investment. According to Caught Offside, they will seek a fee of €40m.
Juventus is closely watching Ugarte, having sent scouts to observe him during the latest international break. Atletico Madrid has expressed interest but is currently focusing on signing Atalanta midfielder Ederson.
Despite Ugarte’s challenges at Manchester United, Newcastle United and Aston Villa have shown long-term interest in him. Ugarte performed well at Sporting CP before facing difficulties at PSG and United. Both clubs are considering making an offer if the price is right.
