West Ham is in a dispute with the Congolese Football Federation over one of its players celebrating after World Cup qualification.

The situation escalated following a significant win against Jamaica on March 31, leading several clubs to voice their concerns about players being held by the national team.

In response, West Ham has taken serious measures regarding their 28-year-old defender. According to The Athletic, the club has filed a complaint with FIFA after Aaron Wan-Bissaka did not return in time for the FA Cup quarter-final against Leeds United. West Ham argues that they did not give permission for Wan-Bissaka to stay in DR Congo for the celebrations.
