Former Shakhtar Donetsk player Nery Castillo has made shocking remarks about Mircea Lucescu following the coach’s passing.

Details: While the sports community shares condolences for the legendary coach, the Mexican ex-footballer released a message filled with anger and hurt. Castillo reflected on a long-standing grievance against Lucescu, claiming the late coach displayed inhumane cruelty during a particularly challenging time in his life.

In his statement, Castillo expressed happiness for Lucescu’s son, Razvan, who was able to be with his father in his final hours, but quickly shifted to serious accusations.

“You didn’t allow me to be with my mother when she was in a coma, and you didn’t give me the chance to say goodbye to her at the funeral,” wrote Nery.

The footballer, whose transfer to Shakhtar once set a record, voiced his resentment years later, attributing his inability to be with his mother during her last moments to the coach’s strict discipline and demands.
