As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Bastoni is losing enthusiasm for the move. The Italian player enjoys his time in Milan and is inclined to remain with his current team.
Barcelona was even preparing a €50 million bid for Bastoni, but Inter reportedly responded with skepticism to this proposal. This has further complicated matters for the Catalans.
Barcelona is looking to strengthen its defense this summer. They had considered Ibrahima Konaté and Nico Schlotterbeck as potential targets. However, Schlotterbeck has recently extended his contract with Borussia Dortmund, and Konaté is nearing a new agreement with Liverpool.
