Barcelona is making strong efforts to keep Robert Lewandowski on the team.

Details: The club has presented a new proposal, offering a contract extension until June 2027. However, the terms are challenging, as Barcelona is asking for a 40–50% pay cut for the Polish striker.

Lewandowski currently earns around €24 million annually, including bonuses. The club aims to reduce its wage bill to comply with financial fair play regulations.
