Asante Kotoko, a leading club in the Ghana Premier League, has apologized to its supporters while navigating the challenges of not having a permanent head coach. The club reassured fans that it is actively seeking to appoint a new manager.
In a statement released on Wednesday and signed by Communications Director Sarfo Duku (Esq.), the club confirmed that the hunt for a new head coach is underway. They emphasized that the chosen candidate will share a football philosophy that aligns with Kotoko’s long-term goals and competitive standards.
The club also took the time to address recent struggles on the field, acknowledging that their performances have not met expectations. Management recognized that the results have fallen short of the standards expected of the Porcupine Warriors and issued an apology to fans for the disappointing outcomes.
