The Cameroonian goalkeeper emphasizes that his future with the national team depends on manager David Pagou.

Andre Onana was not included in the most recent training camps for the Cameroon national team. He missed the Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco and was also absent from the FIFA Series in Australia. Onana has expressed that he holds no grievances against the national team or the Football Federation, but he does have concerns regarding an undisclosed individual. Despite this, he has affirmed his availability for the national squad.

The national team belongs to all Cameroonians, and I haven’t retired. If I’m not called up, it just means I need to improve. When Coach Pagou believes I meet the standard, I’ll return, and we’ll see. For now, we have Epassy, who is performing well, along with Simon Ngapandouetnbu and other new talents.
