The 2025/26 AFC Champions League season is nearing its conclusion. On April 18, the last quarterfinal match was held, finalizing the list of semifinalists.
Japan’s Kobe, Saudi Arabia’s Al-Ahli, and Japan’s Machida Zelvia—who stunned many with their victory over Al-Ittihad—had already secured their spots. The final place went to Dubai’s Al-Ahli.
In the semifinals, Kobe will face Saudi Arabia’s Al-Ahli, while the Dubai club will take on Machida Zelvia.
It’s important to highlight that Al-Ahli from Jeddah is the defending champion. None of the other semifinalists have won the AFC Champions League title before, and only Dubai’s Al-Ahli has reached the final in the past.
