Fulham manager Marco Silva has shared an update on Alex Iwobi following the midfielder’s early exit in their goalless draw against Brentford.

Iwobi left the pitch with a suspected hamstring injury in the 43rd minute, prompting Samuel Chukwueze to take his place.

After the match, Silva mentioned that the initial signs are somewhat positive, but he emphasized that further tests are necessary to determine the injury’s severity. He acknowledged that losing Iwobi was a major setback for the team during the match.

“First reaction I got from Alex – it’s not so bad, but in the next 24-48 hours, we will be more clear about it. A big impact when we lost him,” Silva said.
