Bournemouth has confirmed that their current head coach, Andoni Iraola, will not have his contract renewed.
Details: Today, the club announced via their official X (formerly Twitter) account that Marco Rose, a 49-year-old German coach, will take over as head coach after the current season. Rose will sign a three-year contract with Bournemouth.
Rose replaces Iraola, whose contract expires this summer.
Most recently, Rose managed German club Leipzig from 2022 until he parted ways with the team in March 2025.
Iraola has been with Bournemouth since 2023, leading the team in 122 matches with a record of 46 wins, 35 draws, and 41 defeats.
Reminder: The decision has been made. A Bournemouth player has agreed to join an English club.
