Mahazou Baba Cisset was officially sworn in as the new president of the Malian Football Federation during a ceremony on Tuesday, April 21. His election took place on April 16, but the formal handover marks the beginning of his leadership.
The ceremony was held in Bamako, attended by various stakeholders from the football community in Mali. Cisset will lead the Federation’s new Executive Committee for a four-year term, which is set to last until 2030.
As president, Mahazou Baba Cisset is expected to bring significant changes and revitalise Malian football during his tenure.
