The Saudi Arabian Football Federation has announced the appointment of Greek coach Georgios Donis as the new head coach of the national football team.

Details: The 56-year-old has signed a contract that will last until July 2027. Donis succeeds Frenchman Hervé Renard, whose contract was terminated earlier by mutual consent.

Donis brings a wealth of experience, having coached top Greek clubs such as AEK and PAOK, as well as several teams in the Saudi Professional League. His previous managerial roles include stints at Al Hilal, Al Wehda, and Al Fateh, with his most recent position being at Al Khaleej.
