The 54 member associations of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) have unanimously approved support for Gianni Infantino’s re-election as FIFA President for the 2027–2031 term. This decision was reached during a meeting held on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, in Vancouver, Canada.
The announcement coincided with the ongoing 76th FIFA Congress, which commenced on Thursday, April 30. Infantino’s re-election now benefits from the solid backing of all CAF member associations.
