Burkina Faso’s national football team, known as the Etalons, has announced their schedule for the upcoming international break in June. The team, which will not be participating in the World Cup this summer, is set to face two opponents in separate friendly matches.
The first match will be held against Russia on June 5 in Volgograd. This will be followed by a second friendly against Belarus on June 9 in the Belarusian capital, Minsk. These fixtures are part of the team’s preparations as they aim to refine their playing system and enhance team cohesion.
The Burkinabe side is looking ahead to the qualifiers for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations, with these matches playing a crucial role in their preparations.
