Nottingham Forest defender Ola Aina is a doubt for the team’s upcoming Premier League fixture against Chelsea due to an injury sustained during European competition.
The Nigerian international played a crucial role in Forest’s Europa League match against Aston Villa, which ended in a narrow 1-0 victory for his side at the City Ground.
However, late in the match, Aina appeared to suffer an injury, going down in visible discomfort with approximately 15 minutes left to play. After receiving medical attention on the field, he was unable to continue, leading to his substitution for Zach Abbott.
