Jorthy Mokio, an 18-year-old defensive midfielder born in Belgium, has decided to represent the Democratic Republic of Congo (DR Congo) at the international level. Previously a member of the Belgium youth national teams, Mokio is now set to don the colors of the Leopards.
This announcement comes just a month before the upcoming World Cup, which will take place across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Mokio is expected to join Sébastien Desabre’s squad as they prepare for the prestigious tournament this summer.
