Real Madrid‘s management is currently facing internal tensions following a conflict between central midfielder Dani Ceballos and the team’s head coach Álvaro Arbeloa. The situation escalated to the point where club president Florentino Pérez had to step in to diffuse the unrest.

According to a report by DiarioAS, the conflict prompted 29-year-old Ceballos to request a meeting with the club’s management to address his grievances with Arbeloa. Interestingly, Arbeloa joined the meeting, but Ceballos made his stance clear.

“I don’t want to have any relationship with him,” Ceballos declared upon seeing Arbeloa.

Since Arbeloa’s appointment in January, Ceballos has seen limited playing time, participating in only 25 minutes across matches. The midfielder believes that his lack of opportunities is a result of Arbeloa’s personal animosity toward him. In a further indication of the management’s position, it has been reported that the club is prepared to part ways with Ceballos, irrespective of Arbeloa’s continued role as head coach.
