The Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF) has officially confirmed the schedule for the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2027. The tournament is set to feature an exciting series of matches, showcasing some of the best talent in African football.
According to the announcement, the opening match will take place on Saturday, 19 June 2027, with the tournament culminating in the final on Saturday, 17 July 2027.
AFCON 2027 will include 48 teams competing for the prestigious title, among them the co-hosts Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda, as they aim to secure a spot in the final.
