The Cameroonian Under-17 football team suffered a setback in their preparations for the Africa Cup of Nations, losing to Tanzania in a friendly match. The match, held on Tuesday, 5 May, concluded with a score of 3-1 in favor of the Tanzanian team.
As they gear up for the tournament, which is set to take place from 13 May to 2 June in Morocco, the young Lions are currently based in El Jadida. This final stage of their training includes two friendly matches aimed at fine-tuning their readiness for the upcoming competition.
The next friendly match for coach Saidou Alioum and his players is scheduled against Mozambique on 9 May. Cameroon’s Under-17 team will begin their campaign in the Africa Cup of Nations on 13 May, facing off against Ivory Coast.
