Senegal is gearing up for its upcoming participation in the World Cup, which is set to take place this summer across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. As part of their preparations, the national team, known as the Teranga Lions, will announce its squad next week.

The official list of called-up players will be disclosed on 21 May by manager Pape Thiaw, as reported by Dsports. This announcement is eagerly anticipated as it will reveal the final lineup heading to the tournament.

In a notable development, two players are expected to receive their first call-up to the Senegal national team. Defender Malang Sarr from RC Lens and young midfielder Bara Sapoko Ndiaye have reportedly made it to Senegal’s preliminary list of 55 players submitted to FIFA.
