Al Hilal Omdurman will participate in a mini-tournament aimed at securing a spot in next season’s CAF Champions League. This decision follows the club’s recent success in the Rwandan league, where they were crowned Premier League champions just days ago.
The club has not been able to compete in the Sudanese league since the onset of conflicts in the country. After their triumph in Rwanda, Al Hilal Omdurman has returned to Sudan, where they will compete in the upcoming mini-tournament. The outcome of this tournament will determine their qualification for the 2026–2027 CAF Champions League.
Upon arrival in Sudan, the Al Hilal Omdurman delegation took the opportunity to visit the site of their home stadium, assessing its current condition.
