मैनचेस्टर यूनाइटेड के डिफेंडर मैथिस डी लिफ्ट की पीठ की सर्जरी सफल
मैनचेस्टर यूनाइटेड ने आधिकारिक पुष्टि की है कि उनके खिलाड़ी मैथिस डी लिफ्ट की पीठ की चोट के लिए हुई सर्जरी सफल रही है।
डच सेंटर-बैक खिलाड़ी नवंबर के अंत से ही इस चोट के कारण टीम से बाहर चल रहे थे। हालांकि, इस समस्या के इलाज के लिए सर्जरी का फैसला इसी सीजन के अंत में लिया गया।
क्लब द्वारा जारी बयान के अनुसार, उम्मीद है कि डी लिफ्ट ‘2026/27 सीजन के शुरुआती चरणों’ में मैदान पर वापसी करेंगे।
क्लब के बयान में डी लिफ्ट ने कहा, “नवंबर के बाद से मैंने फिर से फुटबॉल खेलने और अपनी पसंद का काम करने के लिए हर संभव प्रयास किया है। मैंने हर सेशन में खुद को पूरी तरह झोंक दिया और उपचार के हर विकल्प को आजमाया है।”

Man United have confirmed that Matthijs de Ligt has undergone successful surgery on his back injury.
The Dutch centre-back has been sidelined with this issue since the end of November. However, it was only decided at the end of this season to treat it surgically.
According to the club’s statement, De Ligt is expected to return ‘in the early stages of the 2026/27 season’.
“Since November I have done everything, pushing myself in every session and exploring every option, to get back to doing what I love, playing football,” de Ligt said in the statement.
“I am grateful to everyone who has supported me throughout a difficult period in my career. I remain as determined as ever to represent Manchester United and play in front of our incredible supporters as soon as possible.”
