Maduka Okoye has been awarded the title of Most Valuable Player at Udinese Calcio, following an impressive season in Serie A.
The Nigerian goalkeeper earned this recognition thanks to a series of remarkable performances for the Italian club throughout the campaign.
After missing the first two months of the season due to a suspension related to an alleged match-fixing investigation, Okoye made a strong comeback to reclaim his position as Udinese’s first-choice goalkeeper.
At 26 years of age, Okoye delivered standout performances against top teams such as Juventus and AC Milan, concluding the season with 10 clean sheets in 29 league appearances.
