Real Madrid is poised to conclude a second consecutive season without any silverware, and significant changes are on the horizon, including the departure of one of its most celebrated players.

Details: In an official statement, Real Madrid has announced that Spanish full-back Dani Carvajal will part ways with the club at the end of the current season.

Quote: “Real Madrid and our captain Dani Carvajal have agreed to bring to an end an extraordinary chapter of his career with our club at the conclusion of this season. Real Madrid would like to express its gratitude and deepest affection to one of the greatest legends in the history of our club and world football,” the statement read.

Carvajal joined Real Madrid in 2002, dedicating 23 seasons to the club—10 in the youth academy and 13 with the first team. Over his prolific career, he secured 27 trophies, including six European Cups, six Club World Cups, five UEFA Super Cups, four La Liga titles, two Copa del Rey trophies, and four Spanish Super Cups, while making 450 appearances and scoring 14 goals for Los Blancos.
