In a surprising turn of events, the “Nerazzurri” are contemplating a significant player transfer.
According to DiarioSport, AC Milan’s Inter is actively considering the acquisition of 27-year-old Uruguayan central defender Ronald Araujo from Barcelona.
Reports indicate that Inter may include Araujo in a deal involving Alessandro Bastoni, who has garnered interest from the Catalan club. Currently, there are no ongoing negotiations regarding Araujo; however, should discussions about Bastoni falter, Inter might propose a swap deal along with additional cash.
In addition to Araujo, Inter is also keeping an eye on Luka Vuskovic. This season, Araujo has made 37 appearances for Barcelona, scoring 4 goals. Despite his contract with the club extending until 2031, the Uruguayan has expressed a desire to leave, citing psychological and mental health struggles.
