The management of Inter Milan has confirmed the continuation of head coach Christian Chivu, demonstrating the club’s confidence in his leadership.

According to respected journalist Nicolo Schira, an agreement has been finalized for Chivu to extend his contract with the team. The new deal will last until 2028, with a potential option for further extension, and will see the coach earning 4 million euros annually.

Chivu has been at the helm of Inter since June 2025, leading the team to triumph in both the Scudetto and the Coppa Italia this season. So far, he has overseen 53 matches, achieving 36 victories, 6 draws, and 11 losses. His previous contract was set to expire in the summer of 2027.
