Italian coach Thiago Motta is poised to make a return to head coaching as early as next season, according to reports from insider Nicolò Schira on his X social media page. The 43-year-old has several options available to him, with interest from multiple clubs.
Reports indicate that Lazio, Lille, and Bayer Leverkusen are currently pursuing Motta’s services. The coach has expressed his readiness to resume his managerial career in the near future.
Motta’s most recent position was with Juventus of Turin, where he managed the team for a year before departing in March 2025 due to unsatisfactory results. His previous coaching experience also includes stints at Bologna, Spezia, and Genoa.
