Rocky Bushiri has been ruled out of the upcoming World Cup due to an injury sustained while playing for Hibernian FC. The defender was injured just 15 minutes into a league match against Motherwell FC last Saturday.
This setback is a significant loss for the Democratic Republic of Congo, which had initially included Bushiri in its roster for the tournament co-hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
In light of Bushiri’s withdrawal, the Congolese Football Federation has confirmed that Aaron Tshibola has been called up as his replacement, aiming to bolster the team’s prospects ahead of the competition.
