Inter Milan is reportedly keen to sign experienced goalkeeper Jan Oblak from Atletico Madrid. According to insider Ekrem Konur on his X social media page, the Serie A club has officially begun negotiations with the 33-year-old shot-stopper.

Oblak has emerged as the primary target for Inter as the club prepares for the departure of Yann Sommer, whose contract is set to expire. Sources indicate that discussions between Oblak and Inter are progressing well, with a significant probability of the transfer materializing.

Having joined Atletico in 2014 from Benfica for €14 million, Oblak has become a pivotal figure for the club, amassing 538 appearances, conceding 472 goals, and recording 232 clean sheets. The Slovenian goalkeeper’s current contract with Atletico extends until 2028, with Transfermarkt estimating his transfer value at €17 million.
