The Ivory Coast women’s football team, known as the Elephants, is set to face Cape Verde in a double-header of friendly matches. This series of games is part of their preparations for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations, scheduled for this summer.
After a successful FIFA Series in March and various training camps held in Abidjan, the Elephants are eager to challenge themselves against another opponent during the forthcoming international break.
The matches against the Cape Verde women’s team are scheduled for 5 and 8 June at the Félix Houphouët-Boigny Stadium. These friendly encounters will provide the Ivorian squad an opportunity to refine their strategies ahead of the continental tournament.
