Guardiola emphasized that the high demands of elite European football have taken a toll on his energy levels. He reflected on the challenges of maintaining the intensity required for the sport.
“I feel the same way Jürgen Klopp did when he left. My energy is running out. I sense I won’t have the stamina needed to play matches every three days, to keep battling for titles until the end, and to stand in front of the players in the dressing room every single day. “One of the greatest compliments I’ve ever received in my life is the message Sir Alex Ferguson sent me two days ago. That made me so happy,” added the visibly moved Catalan.
