Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva has reportedly made a decision regarding his next club, as his current contract is set to expire this season.
Details: According to multiple sources, the Portuguese international has chosen to join Atlético Madrid. The 31-year-old has long admired Spanish football, and the opportunity with the “Colchoneros” was too appealing to resist.
Key to finalizing the move was Atlético head coach Diego Simeone, who personally reached out to Silva to persuade him to take the offer from the Spanish side. The contract is expected to run until the summer of 2028, with an option for an additional year.
In the 2025/26 season, Silva made 52 appearances for Manchester City, scoring three goals and providing five assists.
