Lewis Hall is reportedly reconsidering his future at Newcastle United after being left disappointed by his omission from Thomas Tuchel’s England squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
According to GiveMeSport, the 21-year-old is unhappy with how the latter stages of the season unfolded, particularly after struggling for regular game time in recent weeks.
The report adds that Hall was frustrated to see Dan Burn preferred ahead of him in key matches, with Burn also earning a place in England’s World Cup squad.
Hall is said to be “devastated” after missing out on selection despite being nominated for the Premier League Young Player of the Season award following an impressive campaign for Newcastle.
Manchester United are reportedly monitoring the situation and maintain a long-standing interest in the versatile full-back, although no formal approach has been made.
The former Chelsea defender is understood to prefer staying in the Premier League and is not currently interested in moving abroad.
Newcastle are not actively looking to sell Hall, who remains under contract until 2029, but the report claims his recent frustrations could become a major talking point during the summer transfer window.
Hall has been valued at around £70 million.
