Tottenham Hotspur is actively seeking to bolster its defense ahead of the upcoming season, with Brazilian defender Savinho emerging as a potential target.
Renowned journalist Ekrem Konur has reported on his X social media page that Tottenham is once again in negotiations with the 22-year-old Manchester City player Savinho. Tottenham previously attempted to secure Savinho during the last summer transfer window; however, their efforts were thwarted as Manchester City firmly declined to part with the defender.
Currently, Savinho is reportedly eager to switch clubs in pursuit of more playing time. In addition to Tottenham, Newcastle United is also keeping a close eye on the player.
This season, Savinho has made 36 appearances for Manchester City, contributing four goals and three assists. He remains under contract with Manchester City until 2031, with his market value assessed by Transfermarkt at approximately 40 million euros.
