AC Milan is reportedly eyeing Argentine coach Mauricio Pochettino as they look to fill the head coach position following Massimiliano Allegri’s departure.
The United States men’s national soccer team will be without a head coach after the upcoming World Cup, as Pochettino has decided to resign from his role.
Details: Renowned journalist Nicolò Schira shared on X that the 54-year-old Pochettino is set to step down after the tournament. He has received an official offer from AC Milan, indicating a possible return to Italy.
Pochettino was appointed head coach of the US national team in September 2024. In his time with the team, he oversaw 24 matches, achieving 14 wins, one draw, and nine losses.
Before his role with the US, Pochettino had extensive coaching experience with prominent clubs, including PSG, Chelsea, Tottenham, Southampton, and Espanyol.
