Negotiations for Trippier’s transfer have reached their final stages, with an official announcement anticipated shortly. The experienced defender will sign a two-year contract, which includes an option for an additional season.
This past season, Trippier made 37 appearances for Newcastle, contributing four assists. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt at €2.5 million. Wolverhampton finished at the bottom of the Premier League this season and will be competing in the Championship next year.
